Product Warranties
Retain your sales receipt. It will be required for any warranty claim.
Most products other than framesets are warrantied by their manufacturer for one (1) year from date of purchase. Cycles BiKyle will, of course, assist in warranty claims for all products purchased from us.
General things to know about warranties:
Generally speaking, warranties cover defects, i.e. recognizable errors in manufacturing
Normal wear and tear on parts like tires, tubes, brakes, gear cables, brake pads, etc are not covered
Bent components such as frames, forks, handlebars, seat posts, pedals, cranks, and wheel rims are signs of accidents and/or abuse and are not warranted
Installing a longer travel suspension fork than the original equipment fork will likely void the warranty
Chrome replacement is not covered at any time
In nearly all cases, coverage is to the original owner only and is not transferable
Customer must provide original dated bill of sale from an authorized dealer
Claims for warranty must be made through an authorized dealer for the manufacturer
Labor charges for disassembly or reassembly of bicycle or parts are not covered at any time by any manufacturer
Parts Warrnaties beyond one year
Shimano bicycle products are covered under warranty against defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of original purchase except Dura-Ace and XTR components which have a 3 year warranty.
Campagnolo products from model year 1998 and earlier have a 1 year warranty. Products from model year 1999 and later have a 3 year warranty.
SRAM warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years after original purchase. Warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the retailer where the bicycle or the SRAM component was purchased. Original proof of purchase is required.
TTT (Tecno Turbo Torino) guarantees to the original purchaser that 3T products are free of manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from date of purchase.
FSA (Full Speed Ahead) warranties Orbit Xtreme and Orbit Xtreme Pro headsets for 10 years against bearing failure for Orbit Xtreme & Orbit Xtreme Pro, 2 years for all other FSA models. FSA bottom brackets = 2 years for bearing or spindle failure. FSA cranksets = 10 years on workmanship or breakage on carbon and aluminum arms, 2 years on rest.
Chris King warranties hubs, headsets, and bottom brackets, including the bearings, for the lifetime of the original purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration, neglect, crash or impact, accidents, failure to perform routine maintenance, improper installation, use other than that for which the product was intended, and normal wear and tear. This Limited Warranty does not cover any product where the serial number has been altered or removed.
Zipp warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years after original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable.
Frame Warranties
Pegoretti frames are warrantied for two years against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship and one year on finish. This guarantee is not transferable to a third party. For all warranty claims, a copy of the original sales receipt is required.
Pinarello frames are warrantied for two years against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship and one year on finish. This guarantee is not transferable to a third party. For all warranty claims, a copy of the original sales receipt is required.
Cinelli frames warrants to the original purchaser from Cinelli-USA that this product will be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal and intended use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. If a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Cinelli will either (1) repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts as Cinelli-USA deems appropriate, or (2) replace the product or component with a new one that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. The original of any product or component that is replaced under warranty must be returned to Cinelli and becomes the property of Cinelli. The Warranty Period excludes bearings as well as damage to the paintwork/anodization.
Torelli and Mondonico warranties their frames and forks purchased from an authorized dealer against defects in workmanship and materials for three years. Warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective frame or fork as pro-rated below and is the sole remedy of the warranty. Frames that are used in actual racing are warranted for 1 year including 6 months on paint.
For year 1: covers all cost of repair and repaint of frame
For year 2: covers all cost of repair and 1/2 the cost of repainting the frame
For year 3: covers all cost of repair of frame, but no cost of painting
This guarantee is not transferable to a third party. For all warranty claims, a copy of the original sales receipt is required.

Bianchi U.S.A., Inc. warranties that any new Bianchi bicycle purchased from an authorized Bianchi dealer will be free from defects in material and workmanship per the below qualifications:
2006 and newer:
titanium and non-RC steel frames = 10 years
aluminum, RC-steel, and carbon frames = 5 years
2000-2005:
titanium and non-RC steel frames = 10 years
non-RC aluminum frames = 5 years
RC and carbon frames = 3 years
1999 and earlier: steel frames = 10 years and aluminum frames = 5 years
For all years: forks, wheels, and all other parts are warrantied for 1 year. This guarantee is not transferable to a 2nd party. For all Bianchi warranty claims, a copy of the original sales receipt is required.

Giordana frames are warrantied for two (2) years against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship and one (1) year on finish. This guarantee is not transferable to a third party. For all warranty claims, a copy of the original sales receipt is required.
Felt warranties all their adult bicycles and bicycle frames except Shot Jumping models to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the expected life cycle of the frame. Normal wear and tear and damage from fatigue are not covered by warranty. The length of the useful life cycle will vary depending on the type of frame, riding conditions and care the bicycle has received. Warranty coverage for components and finish is for 1 year from date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. This warranty is not meant to suggest or imply that the frame cannot be broken or will last forever.
Merckx frames All Eddie Merckx frames from Cycles BiKyle are prior to the sale of the company to Race Productions NV and are warranted for two years against manufacturing defects in the frame. Paint, decals, varnish, and all the finish aspects are warrantied for one year.
Look Frames, both carbon and aluminum, are warrantied for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. Paint, decals, varnish, and all the finish aspects are warranted for one (1) year. For warranty validation, it is required that the two postcards attached to each frame be completed and returned to Look Cycle, the sole guaranteeing authority. This guarantee is not transferable to a second party. For all warranty claims, a copy of the original sales receipt is required.
Cervelo, as of January 1, 2004, warrants each bicycle frame purchased after this date against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as the frame is owned by the original owner, excluding paint and decals. (Cervélo bicycle frames purchased before this date came with a four year warranty). This warranty is expressly limited to either the repair or replacement of the defective frame at the sole discretion of Cervélo – and no other remedies are available under the warranty.
Isaac, Under European (EU) consumer law the purchaser has full statutory warranty rights within the first two years of purchase. For frames only, Isaac International Limited offers a further warranty extension period of an additional three years. Thus giving a total of five years warranty cover (from date of retail purchase) against failure of the frame due to defects in materials or workmanship. The manufacturer’s extended warranty is subject to specific limitations, terms, and conditions. The extended warranty offer applies only to the original retail purchaser (the consumer) on completion and submission of the extended Warranty Registration. This warranty is not transferable. Statutory consumer legislation may be different in non-EU markets.

Ellsworth warrants their frames, road and mountain, for 2 years all-inclusive against any manufacturing defects.
Rocky Mountain limited warranty covers your frame from the date of purchase of your new Rocky Mountain according to the frame material and the type of use:
cromoly steel = life time to original owner
aluminum hard tail = 5 years
aluminum full suspension = 5 years frame, 1 year suspension hardware, 6 months pivots
downhill and "unlimited" = 1 year frame, 1 year suspension hardware, 6 months pivots
competition use = 1 year limited
Merlin Metalworks warrants to the original owner that their titanium frames will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the expected lifespan of the frame. The Merlin carbon composite frames (Cielo, C110, and Proteus) are covered under the same warranty.
Quintana Roo warrants to the original consumer that their products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for the periods set forth below:
titanium frames = limited lifetime from date of purchase
carbon frames = 3 years from date of purchase
aluminum frames = 3 years from date of purchase
paint finishes and decals = 1 year from date of purchase
