A Good 30 Minute Workout ~

First of all, don't go crazy! Unless you are totally obsessed about your upcoming racing season, don't get on your trainer and ride for an hour or two. The idea is to do a sane indoor maintenance program - something to keep you physically fit yet never mentally fried. Get off your bike while you still feel like riding. That way, you will feel like getting back on the bike tomorrow. Certainly, force yourself to get on the bike. But it's almost as important to make yourself get off in a reasonable length of time too. 

When the climate won't let you get outdoors, try this proven indoor workout:

   1ST - 10 MINUTES in 39 x 15 (or 42 x 17)

cadence 95 or higher

    2ND - 10 MINUTES in a high gear  (53 x 17)

cadence 80-90

bullet

3RD - 10 MINUTES in 39 x 17 (or 42 X 19 )

again in high cadence
