"The Dogma's ground-breaking innovation was the use of asymmetry throughout the frame. This greatly increased stability under high stress such as climbing and sprinting. Pinarello has since studied the airflow over the bike to examine where it can be improved to further increase efficiency. The Dogma 2 is the result!  Internal and external refinements have improved the pedal action symmetry by 6% compared to the Dogma 60.1 and in conjunction with the Onda 2 fork has increased lateral rigidity by 14%."

The KOBH 60.1 was used by Team Sky for the cobblestones of 2010 and 2011 Paris Roubaix.

Same ultra-advanced frameset as the already legendary Dogma 60.1, but in a more relaxed geometry for a more upright body position. Seatstays are 41.3cm instead of 40.6, seat angle is apx 1/2 degree shallower, fork rake is 4.8cm instead of 4.3. For long distance riders or rougher roads, the KOBH is the ultimate frame choice.

The KOBH 60.1 is parallel in the Pinarello line to the Dogma 60.1™ and shares the same 60HM1K carbon fiber from TORAYCA®, incorporates Nanoalloy Technology™, utilizes Pinarello’s exclusive EPS™ molding system and is Asymmetric left to right side. The KOBH 60.1 differs from the Dogma and all other Pinarello bikes with a new geometry developed expressly for the classic races of northern Europe. Dubbed CenturyRide™, the geometry is designed to provide more shock absorption and comfort thus delaying rider fatigue over long and rough courses. The KOBH 60.1 achieves this without compromising its lateral stiffness which remains on par with that of the Dogma 60.1. This is accomplished, in part, by relaxing the seat and head tube angles, lengthening the head tube and increasing the fork rake. Additionally, tire clearance has been increased to accept 28mm tires. Designed as a mate to the world-renowned Dogma 60.1, but with a significant price savings and only a slight penalty in weight. The Paris copies all the asymmetric design and geometry innovations of the Dogma but uses 50HM1.5K carbon instead of latest, cutting edge 60HM1K carbon of the Dogma. The Paris is produced using the EPS system and employs Torayca 50HM1.5K Carbon with Nanoalloy technology. The visual differences compared to Dogma are the absence of the narrowing on the fork and seatstays plus the chain stays are straight instead of curved. The structural characteristics of asymmetric shaping, materials used, and construction technologies situate the Paris well above the multi-award winning Prince of 2009. FP Due Bike ~     In stock now!

For 2012 the Pinarello FP2 evolves into the FP Due. The time tested Pinarello geometry remains the same, but the Due receives an asymmetric frame design much like the the Dogma, the #1 high performance frame in the world. Most visible in the seatstays and fork, asymmetry helps balance the power delivery of the right side drivetrain. It's most noticeable during hard efforts such as sprinting or climbing, but it's always working to keep the bike balanced and the wheels planted. Additionally, the new steerer tube on the fork tapers from 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" to create an even stiffer front end for precise handling, especially when the road gets fast and twisty. The seatstays and the fork retain Pinarello's patented ONDA "wave" design for exceptional comfort with no sacrifice in lateral rigidity or responsiveness.
