Tech Terms  you need to know -

UHC Ultimate+Nano - The finest blend of carbon frame material available. The secret is the proprietary resin matrix. With most carbon frames, standard epoxy resin is used as a binder to hold the individual fibers together in their desired locations and orientations. But Felt's Nano Tech actually enhances the performance of the frame at the molecular level with a stronger bond between the fibers. Thinner walls, increased stiffness, and more responsive ride quality are all results of Felt's Nano Tech technology.

UHC Advanced - The highly refined threads of UHC Advanced carbon have a greater fiber to resin ratio which results in a lighter and more lively frame. UHC Advanced fibers allow designers to use thinner walled tubing resulting in frames that are 20% lighter while remaining just as stiff and strong as the competitor's frames. 

UHC Performance - Carbon fiber that is 8 times stronger than 3/2.5 titanium, more than 3 times stiffer than 6061 aluminum and less that 1/4th the density of steel. The UHC Performance materials used in Felt's entry-level carbon frames are on a par with many manufacturers' top-of-the-line models. In fact, just a few short years ago, this exact technology was used in Felt's flagship F5 frame. Because of Felt's commitment to the advancement of carbon technology, you can experience a level of performance previously unheard of at this price point.

Bayonet III steering - By moving the narrow steering tube outside the frame's head tube, Felt engineers created a system that is faster and more aerodynamic yet also stiffer and more precise. The narrow leading edge of the Bayonet III fork combined with the shielded head tube creates a slippery airfoil that decreases overall drag. And it's 60% stiffer than a standard 1" fork so the Bayonet 3 also dramatically improves overall handling and control.
