HOW DOES THE "TUBULAR-CLINCHER" WORK?

When inflated, the tubular-clincher, in the same way as a tubular tire, is pressed towards the rim. Simultaneously, the bead blocks of the profiled rubber band spread out embedding on the rim shoulders and eliminating any rotation of the tire against the rim as well as possibility of the tire unseating. The bottom profiled bead band functions as a filling in the area between the rim and the tire. And as the tire is inflated, the band sides literally “bite” into the rim shoulders. This is the major difference from all previous unsuccessful experiments of other tire manufacturers, where the bottom rubber band was in fact only a passive filling between the rim and the tire!

	high inflation pressures – up to 15 bars (220 psi) without any damage to the rim walls (even when the rim manufacturer specifies lower inflation the pressure is contained inside the tire and does not affect the rim walls!)

CS-33 ~

175 psi!

An extremely fast and efficient racing tire that takes up to 175 psi! 650c x 21mm, all black. Weight is 320 grams including the tube!

	uses higher inflation pressure higher than comparable clincher type tires
	in case of fast deflation the rider’s stability and safety are not affected as much as in the case of clincher tires
	can be ridden flat in case of emergency
	does require gluing to attach the tire to the rim (or use TUFO tape! See below.)
	puncture repairs are not easy unless you use liquid sealant; in this case repair is easy, instant, and inexpensive. Sealant will not work for large gashes.

A very durable tubular for both racing and training. Weight is a very light 260 grams including tube! Width is 21mm. Pressure handling is 115-220 psi! Color is black tread with red sidewall.
