The Perla is a gorgeous limited edition frameset from the master designers at Torelli. Hand wrapped (UHM) Ultra High Modulus carbon throughout, full carbon fork. Exclusive features include an integrated seat mast, bottom bracket option of English or BB30, plus the coolest carbon paint job around. Paint is a stunning pearl white with electric blue panels.

Bottom bracket shell: The Perla is offered with a bottom bracket shell machined to fit English threading to accept all standard bottom brackets. And, it is optionally available fully machined to accept cranksets designed for oversized BB-30 bottom brackets. BB-30 bottom brackets use oversized 42mm bearings that press into the BB-30 shell against inner snap rings. We have BB-30 cranksets from FSA, Sram, and Zipp. And, we have adapters in stock to convert BB-30 to traditional English thread, just $24.99 (part #bb0030).

Hand wrapped 15K high modulus carbon throughout with oversized-tapered headtube and 1/4" lower stack, east-west elliptical top tube, S-bend seatstays, and straight bladed carbon fork. Torelli Selvino ~   950 grams!

Very likely the best value in a professional carbon frame on the market. Weight has been reduced to a feather-light 950 grams in size small! The 12K lugless carbon design allows Chairman Bill to put the strength where it is needed most while keeping the ride light and lively. The new rear wheel tuck (see picture on right) decreases turbulence in a critical area. A rich clear coat provides a lustrous finish while putting the fine carbon workmanship on full display. Torelli Nitro Express ~

Handmade in Torelli's small Italian workshop of triple butted Columbus "Spirit" heat treated Niobium* cromoly throughout. TIG welded with fully forged dropouts and cast bottom bracket. Same time-tested geometry as the Torelli Countach. Painted in the U.S. in your choice of Torelli's 12 luscious Imron colors. Weight is 3.4 pounds. Requires 28.6mm front derailleur, 27.2 seatpost, and Italian threaded bottom bracket.

*NIOBIUM is a very special steel with manganese, chrome, nickel, molybdenum and niobium. In careful testing, Niobium is more effective than Vanadium and other alloys as a strengthening agent. Columbus' patented chemical composition improves resistance against precipitation and reduces the alloy grain size for a more resilient ride. After progressive drawing and forming NIOBIUM undergoes a special heat treatment that gives the steel its final characteristics. Niobium provides superior mechanical characteristics and higher resistance to environmental effects than conventional carbon steels.

Note on front end: Frameset includes a black Torelli Aspect carbon fork with 1" aluminum steerer tube. If you prefer, you can substitute a handmade Columbus cromoly threadless steel fork with cast Pavesi crown all painted to match or a Columbus "Minimal" full carbon fork. Also, the Nitro Express is now available with either traditional 1" or 1 1/8" oversized front end. Make your choice by selecting the fork size you desire in the dropdown list. From a very limited run, the Specialissma is handmade of TIG welded Columbus Genius tubing. Genius is Columbus' top pro tubeset of Nivacrom, a special heat treated steel alloy that retains tremendous strength with very light weight. Frame weighs 3.6 lbs. Includes matching Genius fork with fully sloping external crown. Dropouts are the finest ever, genuine Campagnolo. Fits 27.2 seatpost, 70mm Italian bottom bracket, 1" threaded headset, and braze-on front derailleur. Was $1899.99   Now just $1499.99!

Corsa Strada ~

The Torelli Corsa Strada is proof that a well designed frame made with care and slightly less exotic materials will ride much better than a frame with more exclusive tubing and less manufacturing care. One magazine editor noted that the Corsa Strada rode almost as well as the Cinelli Super Corsa he was reviewing at the same time. You can buy a few Corsa Stradas for the price of 1 Cinelli Super Corsa; that puts you FAR ahead!

The Corsa Strada is built in a small shop north of Padua, Italy. The tubing is Columbus Zona double-butted cromoly. The top tube is drawn down to .5 mm, nearly as thin as tubing can go. The seat lug and Italian threaded bottom bracket shell are investment cast. Front derailleur is attached by 28.6mm clamp so you use cranksets in all double, compact, and triple configurations. Our Corsa Stradas are shipped unpainted to the U.S. where they receive a lustrous paint finish of Dupont Imron plus clear coats. Frame weight is a mere 3.8 lbs.

Note on headset size: Except for the Nitro Express, all Torelli cromoly frames require 1" headsets. The Nitro Express is available in your choice of 1" or 1 1/8" see above. If you are having us install your headset you needn't worry about size as we'll take care of that automatically.

Delivery ~

Generally, Torelli carbon frames are painted and ready to go. Of course, all our frames are carefully BiKyle machined and inspected before we ship. Allow apx 1 week to transfer a carbon frame from warehouse if necessary. We have a large inventory of Torelli cromoly steel frames waiting to be painted in your size and color selection. Allow apx 4 weeks to paint plus another week to ship from painter to us. On arrival, we internally rustproof then hand machine each steel frame before it's ready to ship or add parts. Allow apx 2 additional weeks for any added chrome.
