New for 2011, the Graal is Pinarello’s technological jewel for races again the clock. Pinarello's long history in designing state-of-the-art time trial bikes for countless professional teams around the world has been updated with the latest construction techniques precisely guided by Pinarello's SOE Lab System. Handmade of the finest, strongest 60HM1K carbon and precisely matched to a 1 1/"8 integrated wave-shaped fork also made of 60HM1K carbon. The considerably oversized Most Croxover bottom bracket shell, Wave downtube, and Onda FP chainstays guarantee that every ounce of energy is converted into forward motion. The computer-designed tube sections, including the waves on the down tube, have been carefully designed to minimize weight and maximize performance. The front brake is situated behind the fork to further increase the aerodynamic coefficient and cables, front and rear, run internally. To complete the project, Pinarello created a special HM carbon time trial handlebar-stem combo, the Anura bar, that perfectly integrates with the frame forming a single aero profile. The Anura handlebar has internal passages for both electronic and mechanical cables for an extremely clean and aerodynamic front end. Bar is 42cc wide with 80, 105, or 120mm stem in white or red.

Graal Team Sky Di2 ~

Starting with the Graal frame, above, but in the special edition Team Sky paint scheme. Specifically built for Shimano Di2 or Campagnolo electronic shifting with cables run fully inside the frame plus a battery mount perfectly integrated into specially made chainstays. Frameset color is Sky 531, as pictured. Anura aero bar is 42cc wide with 80, 105, or 120mm stem in white or red.

FT3 Frameset ~

On the wave of the success of the FT1, the FT3 is made with the same aero shaping but this time with extremely light and strong Torayca 50HM1K carbon. While similar to FT1 design, the FT3 features even more refined tube shapes fine tuned in wind tunnel testing. Frame weight is apx 1250 grams (2.7 lbs) in 51cm. This is the exact frame Cameron Brown used to win Ironman New Zealand in 2008. Available in black with gold, red, or blue contrast. Was $4499.99

Made of Monocoque 30HM12K high modulus carbon fiber, the FT1 matches wind-tunnel tested aerodynamics to the secure and controlled ride that only a master frame builder can attain.
