Antonio Mondonico is one of the last of a long line of Italian master frame builders, a science and practiced skill that results in a beautiful and efficient racing machine. The acquisition of this ability does not come easily. It is the result of a lifetime of hard work, building in a part of the world in which the good bike is commonplace and only the great bikes gain recognition. And among the great bikes, none is more revered than a Mondonico.

Cycles BiKyle extends our best wishes for a long and healthy retirement to one of our closest friends in the cycling community, Antonio Mondonico. We have just one last frameset remaining from this legendary frame builder, the 52cm Monzo below. 52cm Monza 747 Carbon ~

Personally handmade by Antonio!

One of Antonio's finest, the Monza Carbon combines the proven ride of heat treated Columbus Nemo 747 Nivachrom cromoly tubing with wishbone carbon seatstays for even more plushness and road contour in the ride. Especially good for longer miles over technical terrain. Frame weight is just 3.6 lbs. Includes Torelli Aspect carbon fork plus chrome rear dropouts. Color is silver with black decals, as pictured.

	Fully forged semi-vertical rear dropouts
	Fits 70mm Italian threaded bottom brackets
	Requires 1" external threadless headset
	Takes braze-on front derailleur
	Includes braze-on top tube cable guides for rear brake, cast guides for both derailleurs, and headtube guides for integrated brake/shift levers

Precision alignment pins, a definitive trademark of Antonio's personal craftsmanship, are clearly visible inside the bottom bracket area (see right chainstay pin in BB picture on right).
