Around town bikes ~
Hybrids are a cross between road and mountain bikes. They retain the upright
body positioning of a mountain bike but the frames, wheels, and tires are closer
to road sizing. Therefore, they zip and zing much more efficiently than mountain
bikes. Yet, they are stable and secure enough for hard packed trails and
moderate gravel as well as rough city roads.

Also available in a ladies stepthrough design
(pictured on left). "Step through" designates a
lowered top tube so the bike is easier to mount and dismount. It is often
referred to as a "ladies" design, but it is equally well suited to men or women.

*Note on Bianchi Milano
hybrid bikes: We continue to get regular emails about this popular hybrid.
Unfortunately, Bianchi has discontinued this model for 2011. We have none
left in any size, any color. You may be able to find some sizes and colors at
your local Bianchi dealer, but to our knowledge, the 16.5" ladies stepthrough is
sold out everywhere.
