Campagnolo Shamal Ultra Clinchers ~  

Campy Shamal Ultra clinchers are the result of 15 years of advanced wheel technology. The light alloy rims are individually CNC-machined from specially selected extrusions. The welded seams are ground with the rest of rim for the most precise braking surface. Spaces between the spokes are lightened by toroidal grinding. Each rim is dynamically balanced for the smoothest ride at the highest speeds. Both the spokes and nipples are made of light alloy. The central bodies of the hubs are carbon fiber and the flanges are aluminum. The right-side flange of the rear hub is oversized to maximize torsional rigidity. Campagnolo's patented "G3" spoking pattern results in 46% greater torsional resistance and 34% added resistance to flection. The oversized axles are light alloy and surrounded by precision ceramic ball bearings. Campagnolo's world renowned light alloy quick release skewers are included along with wheel bags. Accepts Campagnolo 9, 10, and 11 speed cassettes. Available in gold or titanium-gray. Gold is particularly striking with classic skinwall tires (see pic on right).

Campagnolo Shamal Ultra Tubulars ~

Same technology as the Shamal Ultra clinchers but in a tubular version for glued-on tires. Because you are riding on an entire tire, rather than half a tire like a clincher, tubulars still provide the finest ride and most secure control. Campagnolo's world renowned light alloy quick release skewers are included along with wheel bags. Rims, spokes, and hubs are black.

Campagnolo Eurus Clinchers ~  

This is Campagnolo's fully race tested wheel design, stronger and even lighter than Nucleon wheels though not quite as comfy and quick. The Eurus features a 28mm deep rim rear rim as opposed to the 18-20mm of traditional wheels. The front rim is 4mm less deep than the rear for even more weight savings and extra steering quickness. The aero-aluminum spokes on the rear are grouped in 7 clusters of 3 spokes for 21 total (2 spokes on the drive side for every 1 on the non-drive!). The 16 straight pull aero-aluminum spokes in the front are radially laced. A pair weighs a mere 1490 grams. Obviously very light, the Euros have proven to be extremely durable as well. The cassette body fits Campagnolo 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes. A Shimano version is available on special order. Light alloy quick release skewers are included along with wheel bags.

Available in black with black hubs or silver and with gray anodized hubs.

These wheels use the same rims and hubs as the Eurus wheelset. The rims have machined braking surfaces and like the Eurus, they are machined on the inside between the spokes to reduce rotating weight without decreasing strength. The front rim is 4mm less deep than the rear for even more weight savings and extra steering quickness. The rear (pictured on left) uses 21 stainless steel bladed straight-pull spokes in 7 groups of 3. The front wheel (pictured on right) uses 16 stainless steel bladed straight-pull spokes in a radial pattern and weighs 670 grams. The rear wheel accepts Campagnolo 9, 10, and 11 speed cassettes and weighs 885 grams. Price is per pair, 700c. Available in black or silver.

Campagnolo Scirocco Clinchers ~

The Scirocco wheelset offers the performance of Campy's ingenious G# spoking pattern to a larger number of cycling enthusiasts. Scirocco wheels are an exceptionally good value because they provide all the technical benefits of the top end wheels at a slightly higher, but still very competitive weight. Suitable for both racing and training. Front is 20 spoke, 775 grams. Rear is 27 spoke rear, 1020 grams. Available in black or silver. Accepts 9, 10, and 11 speed Campagnolo cassettes. Quick release skewers are included.

Campagnolo Vento Clinchers ~

The Vento light aluminum rims are medium profile extrusions, 24mm deep. Sides are machined to improve braking smoothness. Special eyelets increase longevity. The hubs are flanged and mounted with high precision bearings. The cassette body is light alloy. Both wheels use Campagnolo's exclusive "G3" spoking pattern for better transmission of torque, improved lateral stiffness, and decreased tension on the rear spokes. 825 gram front with 24 spokes, 1002 gram rear with 27 spokes. Fits Campagnolo 9, 10, and 11 speed cassettes. Quick release skewers are included. As of 2010, available in black only.
